- Develop and implement marketing communications plan that meets the goals of the school’s strategic plan for continued growth and programmatic improvement.
- Responsible for communicating consistently across print and electronic media ensuring that key strategic messages are communicated effectively to target audiences.
- Produce, or acts as liaison with firms that produce public relations materials, advertising and marketing collateral such as brochures, press releases, web copy, newsletters and executive presentations.
- Design, write and maintain content for website, email newsletters and social media to reflect a consistent brand and deliver strategic messaging.
- Develop curriculum and teach middle school technology class that focuses on computer/web technology for communications.
- Oversee a staff of 40 and schedule more than 75 camps that see close to 800 students each summer while handling site logistics, staffing, payroll, transportation, marketing, and issues management.

- Developed and managed relationships with large client base in highly competitive sales market.
- Presented digital workflow solutions through consultative selling methods to everyone from Office Managers to C-level Executives.

Electronic Prepress Technician
- Handled communications as liaison between customer and printing process for the highly technical electronic prepress department.
- Scheduled and managed daily deadline workflow in prepress service bureau.
- Software and programming experience: Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, HTML, CSS and PHP. Hardware experience: Mac and PC, Scitex RIP, Scitex Dolev 200 and 400, Agfa Avantra and Accuset, Linotype-Hell drum scanner and IRIS.
- Executed color correction, photo retouching and trapping for printing projects on Scitex Prisma and Macintosh.
1991 – 1993: ADRtoday Magazine
Managing Editor/Art Director/Sales
- Managed production, design, layout and printing of monthly magazine ADRtoday (Alternative Dispute Resolution Today) for the Alabama Mediation and Arbitration Center.
- Designed and developed content and established editorial style of magazine.
- Supervised writers and managed all editing functions for the magazine.

1988 – 1991: Westbrook Productions
Executive Producer/Writer/Director/Editor
- Formed Westbrook Productions to produce the feature film ELVIS’ GRAVE; the second feature film produced in Alabama by a native Alabamian and the youngest producer to ever do so.
- Directed cast and crew of forty-five people during film production.
- Managed and coordinated multiple subcontractors during postproduction.
- Raised $300,000 through private investors for film production.
- Researched and wrote business plan to procure investors.
- Organized cast and crew, secured locations, budgeted and scheduled production.
- Executed the editing of sound and picture in both videotape and film format.
